So you’ve done the hard bit and left your house, awesome! Now you’re waiting for the best part of your day to start and it’s getting a little nippy around your ankles while you wait. Here is our advice…
Rebels – Make sure you turn up with something warm on. We recommend hoody and a pair of trackies you can take off once you’ve started. A lightweight shell jacket is also advised if it is particularly rainy or windy.
We kick training off and boy you warm up quickly. Trackies and hoody come off and underneath you have a couple of options. The best of which are:
Base Layers – Sweat Wicking t-shirt and shorts, worn under your normal t-shirts and shorts. These are tight, extremely light weight and do not restrict your range of movement at all. The sweat wicking mechanism draws the moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and the extra layer below your normal t-shirt regulates your body temperature. They can also help keep you cool in the hotter weather, us Aberdonians wouldn’t know anything about that though.
Normal thermal underwear – gives you the warm layer you need, but it is a lot thicker than the Base Layers and won’t draw the sweat away and once wet will take a long time to dry out, keeping you damp and cold after the outdoor boot camp.
Waterproof Gloves – making bootcamp that little bit more enjoyable! We favour Seal Skins but any kind of waterproof ski glove is perfect.
Rebel PT gear – including bobble hats, scarfs, hoodies and tees. Get in touch to place your order.
